Smartwatch sales drop in Q3 (July-September) 2016 | Monday, 24 October 2016
According to an IDC report from 5.6 million watches sold in the third quarter (Q3) of 2015, only 2.7m watches were sold during Q3 2016. During the same period, Apple sold 1.1m watches in 2016 from 3.9m in 2015 while Garmin went up to 0.6m watches in 2016 from 0.1m watches in 2015.
Costa: First half of the year (H1) results (to 1 September 2016) | Tuesday, 25 October 2016
Costa coffee has 3,401 stores worldwide: 2,121 of them are in the UK. It also has 5,970 express machines installed worldwide. System sales in the first half of the year were £841.1m, up by 11.9% compared to the first half of 2015 (£755.4m).
Peugeot unit sales (July – September 2016) | Wednesday, 26 October 2016
Peugeot worldwide unit sales in Q3 (July-September) 2016 were 441,300 (25.6% up compared to Q3 2015). Highest increase was in the Middle East & Africa where Peugeot sold 124,200 cars (up by 408.8%).
UK Car Manufacturing: September 2016 | Thursday, 27 October 2016
77.1% (123,119 units) of the cars manufactured in September 2016 in the UK were exported. The total production was 159,726 cars.
Baidu Q3 (July – September) 2016 results | 28 October 2016
Baidu is the equivalent of Google for Chinese-speaking people. The name of the search engine was inspired by an old (800+ years) Chinese love poem. It literally means “hundreds of times”. 660 million users searched the internet via Baidu in September 2016.
